Tending Minds
The center was named 'Tending Minds' to aptly represent our zeal to attend to and take care of minds that need nourishment and gentle support to thrive. Tending Minds, one of the best psychological service providers in Pune, was founded with the vision to reach out to everyone who needs it and provide them with state-of-the-art mental health therapies.
Promoting Community Mental Health
At Tending Minds, our mission is to address the mental health needs of individual clients while fostering awareness and sensitivity within communities. By encouraging open discussions around mental health, we aim to break the stigma and promote psychological well-being at the community level. We adopt a holistic approach to mental health, focusing on alleviating individual distress, safeguarding the vulnerable, and fostering emotional resilience and well-being for all.
Commitment to Ethical Excellence
Our services prioritize the rights and dignity of our clients. We strictly adhere to the Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct established by the American Psychological Association (APA). Understanding the sensitive nature of our work, we uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. All information shared during sessions is treated as privileged, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported throughout their journey with us.
Building a Network of Professionals
Tending Minds collaborates with a wide network of mental health professionals across India, including Clinical Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Psychiatrists, and Psychiatric Social Workers. This extensive network allows us to provide comprehensive and specialized care to our clients. By connecting with experts in the field, we ensure access to the best possible resources and support for mental health care.
Shaping Future Mental Health Experts
In addition to providing care, Tending Minds is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals. We welcome students and interns, offering them opportunities to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field. Through mentorship and practical exposure, we help them strengthen their theoretical knowledge and refine their skills, empowering them to contribute effectively to the mental health sector.

I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2021 after a series of traumatic incidents I faced. Suddenly I lost the desire to seek help. I approached almost 4 people for therapy and instead of helping me they made me feel guilty for my past & inability to move on. I had no hopes and I wasn't expecting any help when I contacted Tending Minds. But everything changed when I met Purva Kadaganchi Ma'am and she took my case very seriously and showed me compassion like nobone else. Even at times I had given up on therapy, she reached out herself with so much care & compassion that I started seeing hope.
I didn't know anything about C-PTSD and she's been helping me a lot & now I'm doing better. Suicidal thoughts were a challenge and because of her help I am able to manage them.
The whole staff of Tending Minds is very gentle & caring. I will always be thankful to all the therapists who have such a gentle approach towards struggling people.
